Ear Candling

Ear Candling is an age-old remedy revived. Candling is a natural ear healing technique that began centuries ago, possibly originating in ancient Egypt. Because the process worked, Candling spread to Europe, Greece and China and is now practiced around the world.

Given its name because the practitioner uses a hollow waxed cloth candle, this simple home remedy assists in the removing of ear wax and may improve any of the following conditions: sinus problems, sore throat, ear ache, swimmer's ear, tinnitus (constant sounds in the ear), labyrinths (a spinning sensation), some chronic headaches, allergies and hearing difficulty.

There is no discomfort to the person receiving the treatment; old ear wax and noxious toxins are drawn up into the candle, which has been placed gently in the ear and lit. The low flame of the wick creates a slow vacuum which softens and pulls the old wax into the base of the candle. When the candle has burned down sufficiently, one can then examine the base of the candle to see just what was in the ear.

How is it that such results can be obtained? Our theory is that such efforts are possible because all the passages in the head are interconnected, allowing the candles to drain the entire system osmotically through the membrane of the ear.

Structurally, the internal carotid artery, the auditory tube, the cochlear nerve, the facial nerve, the semicircular canal and the first turn of the cochlea are all located in the area immediately behind the tympanic membranes.

All nerves have a thin coating of spinal fluid, which can become polluted. The fluid in your body circulates times a day in order to cleanse itself. If the system is laden with toxicity from the environment and the food we eat; then the body cannot take in what it needs in the way of metabolites for the nerves.

There are several tympanic membranes, all of which vibrate. These membranes are linked by a series of canals. The ear canal itself forms and helps support the brain, a pivot point for the skull. These bones only need to move a paper's thickness worth of distance in order to make a correction. When the bones are properly aligned, the osmotic pressures on the nerves that relate to your senses are shifted as well. It is believed that the gentle reverse osmotic pressure of the Ear Candling is enough to effect such a correction, which is why people often feel better afterwards.
What you can expect during and after the Ear Candling session

During the Ear Candling session, you will only feel the candle being carefully inserted in your ear. You may hear some cracking and popping when earwax is being pulled. Just relax.

If the person being candled has excessive hearing loss, they may feel more heat during the Ear Candling session since their feeling senses are keener than a good hearing person is. If this becomes uncomfortable, the therapist at your request will stop the procedure and continue when you feel it is appropriate.

After the Ear Candling session, you may feel lightness in your head and noises may appear to be much louder to your ears. Putting a little ear oil on some cotton and inserting it in the ears can relieve this. You will find that your hearing has improved as most likely the blockage of is gone.

You may feel warmth or itching in the ears. Putting a drop can relieve this or two of Hydrogen Peroxide in the ears for a day or two after the Candling session, then wipe them out with a cotton swab. The Hydrogen Peroxide will continue to clean the ears and the itching will stop. You may use this same procedure with Echinacea liquid instead of Hydrogen Peroxide.

You may find your sinuses are draining or the drainage has increased. This will relieve the pressure in your sinus areas and sinus headaches should decrease. The senses of taste, smell and sight may also be increased.

Twice a year we all have our teeth cleaned to keep our mouths healthy. Why not keep our ears healthy with an Ear Candling session? Use your own judgment as to how often you need or want to have an Ear Candling session.

Ear and Hearing Difficulties

Pain felt in the ear does not necessarily originate there. Since there are many delicate nerve connections between the ears, nose, throat and mouth, an earache may be caused by a variety of conditions: Changes in air pressure, dental problems, tonsillitis, infected adenoids and sinuses.

One of the conditions that make for mold allergy is Candida. Candida albicans organism in the ear causes itching inside the ear and symptoms of arthritis or feelings of numbness in the neck, shoulders elbows and hands.

Parasites in the ear may cause symptoms ranging from hypoglycemia, diabetes, heart problems, arthritis, irrationality & emotional instability, enzyme function impairments, hyperactivity in children, to learning and thinking impairments. Yeast funguses as well as common worms are considered parasites. When the nerve endings in the ear are blocked from picking up stimulus by either fungus or yeast growth, the hearing process cannot be completed. It is important to stop these parasites from growing with EAR CANDLING and diet changes.

Most infections of the middle-ear are associated with upper respiratory infections transmitted through the Eustachian tube from the nose and pharynx. Inflammation of the tube itself is common as a consequence of improper nose blowing or of sniffling germ-laden mucus from the nose into the throat. Middle-ear infections (otitis media) are caused directly by bacteria or viruses, or indirectly by the presence of pneumonia, influenza (cold), measles, mumps or scarlet fever.

Symptoms of pain felt in the ear such as a sensation of blockage may be associated with earwax. A secretion from the ceruminous glands in the outer ear may accumulate and harden to form earwax. This wax cannot be reached with you fingertip, but EAR CANDLING will pull it out with absolutely no discomfort. (If you pull on your ear lobe and the pain worsens, you will know the infection is in your outer ear).

Never try to clean your ears or remove an object with a bobby pin, cotton swab, or any other kind of hard object. There is a danger of perforating your eardrum if you push the object in too far, and the tiny bones in the middle ear may be damaged, leading to hearing impairment. Foreign bodies such as insects or airborne seeds may find their way into the ear. Small objects such as beans, buttons, or beads may be pushed into the ear as sometimes occurs with young children. Both cleaning and removal of foreign bodies and small objects are best accomplished by EAR CANDLING.

Problems with hearing can stem from a number of sources. The cause of hearing loss is usually a temporary blockage of the outer or middle ear and hearing is restored when the blockage is removed with EAR CANDLING. Ear wax blockage is a common cause of temporary hearing loss, particularly in the elderly. People wearing hearing aids have problems with ear wax blockage since the hearing aid will push the accumulation of earwax towards the middle ear. EAR CANDLING can relieve the discomfort of wearing a hearing aid by removing the accumulated earwax.

Inflammation of the middle ear (Otitis media) also causes hearing loss. Inflammation occurs when bacteria from a respiratory infection, such as a cold or draining sinus travel up the Eustachian tube from the throat and inflame the tissues of the middle ear. If the tube then becomes blocked, fluids and pus produced by the infection cannot drain; the fluids accumulate, thereby causing hearing loss by inhibiting the vibration of the eardrum. These fluids and pus can be pulled out with EAR CANDLING.

Acne Facial

Designed for the client with very visible acne/comodonic skin. The products used are formulated to balance to alkaline/acidity of the skin. The skin is cleansed twice and toned. Steam therapy is used to help hydrate the skin and open the comodones for extractions. After the extractions, a germicide is used to deep cleanse and close the pores. A Zinc and Sulphur mask is used to help heal, soothe and draw out excessive oils in the skin. Day protection finishes the session. This facial is recommended once a week until the acne is in a recessive stage.
